Once again, I had the honour and the privilege to do the lighting design and lighting direction for the yearly Psalm festival. Happening around Easter each year, the festival is centred around musical performances in readings in relation to Easter traditions from around the globe, in different cultures and religions.
In this performance, the vocal ensemble Tenores di Bitti presented traditional Easter songs from Sardinia, in a very archaic and intense vocal style.
Again, a shot from Styriarte 2014, this is the Chinese Gu-Feng Ensemble in rehearsal at the stage in the HLH. Performing traditional Chinese music with traditional Chinese instruments, they created one of “these” special evenings. Lighting design and direction by myself again.
Like in the past years, I’ve the honour and the privilege to do some lighting for the Steirischer Herbst festival in Graz, Austria. This is one of the leading contemporary art festivals in Europe, and is taking place every autumn (=Herbst).
